Both Diddy and JAY-Z made appearances on the remix of 50 Cent’s 2007 single “I Get Money.”

Puff isn’t particularly known for his lyricism, so Fif and Hov lent him a hand with his verses.

However, some of those lyrics have since raised eyebrows.

“Bo knows but Diddy did it / Cars, jewelry, and lavish estates, yeah, Diddy did it / Shootouts, rivalry disputes, yeah, Diddy did it / But my lawyer’s so skilled that Diddy was cleared,” Puff rapped.

In a recent interview with The Breakfast Club, 50 Cent was quick to throw JAY under the spotlight regarding those lines. [Skip to 25 minutes.]

“Jay assisted me with that,” Fif remarked.  “Jay crafted that segment where he mentioned, ‘Shootouts, rivalry disputes.’ I wasn’t involved in that, that was the East Coast-West Coast tension.”

Do you believe Hov will eventually be linked to any of Puff’s wrongdoings?
