Over the summer, NBA YoungBoy pleaded guilty to Federal gun charges.
He had been facing ten years after being charged with possessing firearms as a convicted felon during a 2020 music video shoot. Police say he had a 9 mm handgun and a .45-caliber Glock.
His next court hearing will be a “continued change of plea” appearance on November 18th, and his lawyer hopes to negotiate a better settlement than the unknown one they have been offered.
YB has been either locked up or kept under house arrest for two years. Since that will count as time served, he could get off without more jail time.
In addition to the gun charges, YB is facing federal charges of impersonating a doctor in a scheme to get prescription medication, like cough syrup.
It’s unclear if his plea will affect that case.
