GloRilla aspires to become a mother someday, but she is not following the conventional path. During a chat with Charlamagne Tha God on “Out Of Context” this past Monday (Oct. 14), the Memphis sensation disclosed her intention to employ a surrogate when the time is right.

When inquired if the line “This n**ga tryna get me pregnant, I need to tie my tubes” from her collaboration with Latto on “PROCEDURE” stemmed from an actual experience, GloRilla confirmed, “Yeah.” Regarding her feelings on pregnancy, the “Wanna Be” performer whimsically replied, “1-800.”

“I would love to have kids, but not biologically mine. I want to utilize a surrogate,” she explained further. “I’d prefer someone else to bear my child. I want the baby to have my DNA, but I don’t want to experience pregnancy.”

“I simply don’t want to go through the process of having a baby… All my friends have children, and their lives change significantly during pregnancy. I’m like, ‘Nah, I’m not interested in that,’” the rapper conveyed. Later, Charlamagne Tha God reminded her that pregnancies only last nine months, to which she quickly replied, “That’s too long.”

In another part of their discussion, the “Wanna Be” artist shared her experience collaborating with Sexyy Red on “WHATCHU KNO ABOUT ME,” which features a sample of Boosie Badazz’s early 2000s hit “Wipe Me Down.” She elaborated, “The world [had been eager] for me and Sexyy Red to collaborate, so we needed to make that happen. I thought, ‘This is a lively song. It fits her style perfectly.’”

The duo appears to have more tracks in their archive as well. “We [were] in the studio crafting something, and we actually completed another song,” the Collective Music Group artist revealed.

“WHATCHU KNO ABOUT ME” stands out among the many highlights of GLORIOUS, GloRilla’s inaugural studio album. This 15-track compilation also features pre-released tracks “HOLLON” and “TGIF,” with notable contributions from BossMan Dlow, Megan Thee Stallion, Kirk Franklin, Muni Long, T-Pain, and several others.
