4:27 PM PT — Tom Brady expressed his feelings about the recent developments… stating he was “deeply honored and thrilled” to receive unanimous support from the team owners.
“Football has been an essential aspect of my life since my upbringing in the Bay Area, and in numerous ways, my journey in football has come full circle,” Brady mentioned.
“Having spent my youth on the field, it’s a privilege to know I will be involved in the premier league in the world for the remainder of my days,” he further added.

Brady expressed gratitude to Mark Davis for inviting him to join the Raider organization… as well as NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, his fellow team owners, and his team for assisting him in achieving this milestone.
“I am keen to support the organization in any capacity I can, while respecting the Raiders’ rich heritage and striving to improve our offerings for fans… and most significantly, to WIN football matches.”
It’s now official—Tom Brady is acquiring a stake in the Las Vegas Raiders!!!
The iconic NFL quarterback successfully secured the required votes during the league’s fall meeting held in Atlanta on Tuesday, tasting victory with the vital 24 votes needed for the proposal.
In May 2023, Brady finalized an agreement with Raiders owner Mark Davis—at that point, it was disclosed that he and entrepreneur Tom Wagner would be acquiring a 10% stake in the team.
The agreement required some adjustments … as the league’s financial board felt the original conditions were excessively low.
The ownership is projected to influence Brady’s new occupation … as TB12 — who has recently commenced his 10-year, $375 million broadcasting contract with FOX — is reportedly restricted from attending production gatherings with players and coaches, visiting facilities of rival teams, or criticizing referees during games (in addition to various other limitations).
Davis expressed his enthusiasm regarding Brady’s joining last year … noting he was “thrilled” to welcome him into the Raider community.
The 47-year-old is not the first retired athlete to acquire a share in a professional sports franchise. He joins the ranks of Michael Jordan, Alex Rodriguez, and Magic Johnson, who have all transitioned into ownership roles post their athletic careers.
In addition to the Raiders, Brady has also put his money into the Las Vegas Aces, Birmingham City football club, professional pickleball, and an E1 Series racing team.
