The cast members of “Napoleon Dynamite” made an exciting appearance at a delightful diner in Missouri over the weekend, giving patrons a wonderful surprise… all while speculation about a sequel to the beloved film buzzes on.
Dona Ramadani, co-owner of John’s Waffle & Pancake House, shared with TMZ that the small establishment in Kennett, Missouri experienced a rush of customers on Sunday… when a casual Jon Heder, Efren Ramirez, and Jon Gries unexpectedly graced the counter.
The trio from the massively popular comedy of 2004 was eventually recognized by a patron amidst the hustle and bustle… leading to an outpouring of excitement from fans. Fortunately, it was a positive vibe… Dona informs us that the three actors were incredibly laid-back, happily accommodating every photo and autograph request… prior to departing with a “very generous” tip.
It appears that the trio was passing through after a Q&A session for their movie in Paragould, Arkansas… and made a stop at this diner that frequently welcomes celebrities… as Dona mentioned that Kennett’s own Sheryl Crow is a regular visitor.
This encounter raised some eyebrows among fans following Efren—who portrayed Pedro in the film—recently teased to Collider about the possibility of a sequel… “Everyone’s keen on seeing a sequel — and I can legally say, the door hasn’t closed yet.”
It certainly seems a vast number of fans are still inclined to Vote for Pedro.
