On Friday, October 11, Interview Magazine released an exclusive interview featuring North West alongside her mother, Kim Kardashian, in celebration of its 55th anniversary. Throughout their chat, the 11-year-old discussed her major fashion inspirations and current favorite artists.

“Not in any specific order, but Tyler, the Creator; Yuno Miles; and Nicki Minaj,” North stated to the publication regarding her musical preferences. As the oldest of Kim and Ye’s four children, North demonstrated her love for Minaj by dancing to “Everybody” on TikTok. This track, featuring Lil Uzi Vert, stands out as one of the highlights from Pink Friday 2.

North subsequently shared her plans for Halloween (October 31), expressing her intention to impersonate the “Barbie Dangerous” rapper — and possibly her beloved Twitch streamer. “I’m going to dress up as a sailor pirate and a mermaid with my two best friends. Much love to them,” she told her mother. “I’m going to channel Kai [Cenat] and Tyla. I will portray Nicki Minaj, and also Princess Peach and Princess Daisy alongside Chi.”

Additionally, North seems to draw some inspiration from Ye’s JESUS IS KING phase. When asked about her way of assisting others, Miss Westie replied, “I want to spread the gospel. Tell them about God and how to overcome challenges by living according to his word and path.”

Currently, North appears to be taking a hiatus from music creation after introducing her anticipated debut project, Elementary School Dropout, back in March. Unfortunately, there have been no recent updates regarding its release, but she did accompany Ye at a number of VULTURES listening events earlier this year.

The father and daughter collaborated on the track “TALKING,” which made its debut at No. 30 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, from the first edition of the album series. North also featured on the track “BOMB” from VULTURES 2, where she rapped in Japanese alongside her sister, Chicago.
