Federal authorities insist Diddy poses a potential danger to witnesses or alleged victims if the court permits his release on bail, stressing that he demonstrated such behavior immediately following Cassie‘s assault.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office has countered Diddy’s recent attempts to secure bail… submitting new documents to remind the judge of the defendant’s previous actions meant to hinder justice.

The documents specifically highlight the notorious video of Cassie’s assault from March 2016 at the InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles, where it is claimed Diddy was hosting a Freak Off.
While Cassie’s name is not mentioned, federal prosecutors detail all accounts captured on the video — including Diddy hitting the victim, throwing her to the floor, kicking her, and trying to “drag her back to the hotel room.”
What prosecutors aim for the judge to concentrate on is the encounter between Diddy and hotel security after they witnessed the assault on surveillance footage.
As per the documents, the founder of Bad Boy Records allegedly tried to bribe a hotel security officer with “a bundle of cash in return for his silence.”
Although the security officer rejected the offer, the authorities allege that Diddy instructed his team to retrieve the video, which “vanished” from the hotel’s servers shortly after.
Consequently, federal authorities are formally petitioning the appellate court judges to uphold the lower court’s ruling to deny Diddy bail, keeping him in custody before his trial.

As previously mentioned, Diddy alongside his newly appointed legal team has submitted an appeal regarding the ruling on his bond hearing. It is worth noting that the judge has previously refused his requests on two separate occasions.
We have sought responses from Diddy’s representatives… to date, we have yet to receive any feedback.
