Following his exchange with Joe Budden and a recent episode of “No Ordinary Podcast,” DDG seems to be on a publicity tour post-breakup from Halle Bailey. On the night of October 7, the “Moonwalking in Calabasas” artist made it clear that, contrary to speculation, he has no intention of pursuing another relationship unless The Little Mermaid star decides to reconsider.

“I’m not seeing anyone. I don’t have a potential partner, and it’s not something that’s on my mind at all,” DDG shared during his Twitch stream. “I won’t enter another romance unless it’s with Halle. That’s the only scenario.”

“I don’t want to deal with multiple baby mamas. That’s not my goal. We’re taking a break, like I mentioned. I’m about to pick my son up right after this. Let me enjoy my life,” he continued.

Since announcing the split earlier this month, DDG has not shied away from discussing the breakup. During an episode of the “No Ordinary Podcast” on October 3, he likened dating to a “part-time job” and later had a heated exchange with Budden regarding the relationship. As for Bailey, she has remained silent on the matter.

“After a considerable amount of reflection and sincere discussions, Halle and I have opted to part ways. This was not an easy choice, but we believe it’s the most beneficial route for both of us. I value the moments we’ve shared together and the affection we’ve experienced,” DDG wrote on Instagram.

In September, the rapper from Michigan collaborated with G Herbo for “Nosey,” which features a sample from Project Pat’s “If You Ain’t From My Hood.” This collaboration may be included on his upcoming album, along with tracks like “Trickin’” and “Shoot Up Your Block,” although a specific release date has yet to be announced.
