In the snippet, DDG shared, “I’ve mentioned this to you before on the side. It’s best to remain single during these years of your life so you can truly hustle. Nobody is going anywhere… whoever catches your interest now. First, get your priorities straight and grind, free from any constraints. Being in a relationship comes with real limitations. You constantly have to think about their feelings, which means you can’t work as freely as you’d like.”
He concluded his thoughts by stating, “If I could give advice to my 22-year-old self, I’d say to avoid relationships altogether because it’s almost like juggling a part-time job.” Reactions to his comments have been mixed among fans on social media. One user remarked, “Having a relationship is a job, but being a parent isn’t?” Others have pointed out Bailey’s quiet demeanor during this period while he continues to speak publicly about the situation.
Regarding the breakup, DDG stated, “After considerable reflection and genuine discussions, Halle and I have chosen to part ways.” He further added, “We remain the best of friends and have great admiration for one another. As we concentrate on our personal paths and our co-parenting roles, we treasure the bond we’ve developed and the wonderful times we’ve experienced together.” Following the announcement, both parties eradicated any mentions of each other from their social media accounts, and DDG was compelled to deny rumors that he spoke about her on his “Close Friends” feature on Instagram.
