Jay Cutler is facing consequences following his DUI detainment—while he’s permitted to drive, certain conditions must be met, as reported by TMZ.
According to law enforcement sources speaking to TMZ, the former NFL player cannot drive without an interlock ignition device installed in his vehicle. This means if he fails the Breathalyzer test within the car, the vehicle will not start!
As previously mentioned, the police documentation we obtained disclosed that Kristin Cavallari‘s former spouse rear-ended another vehicle Thursday evening in Franklin, Tennessee—when police arrived, they immediately noticed a strong scent of alcohol. Officers also reported his bloodshot eyes and slurred speech.
TMZ was the first to report that Jay spent some time behind bars after being arrested for DUI along with three other charges.
The additional offenses include failure to maintain proper care, breaching implied consent regulations (for opting out of a blood or breath test), as well as possessing a firearm while impaired.
Jay posted a $5,000 bond and was released later that evening, as stated by a representative from the Franklin Police Department. He is scheduled to appear in court again in January 2025.
