Diddy’s legal representatives have recently submitted a third request for his release on bail.
However, he is encountering significant challenges, as federal authorities are leveraging the 2016 assault on Cassie to keep him incarcerated.
Prosecutors not only recounted the incidents involving Diddy and his former partner but also highlighted his attempts to destroy the surveillance recordings.
They alleged that Diddy attempted to bribe a hotel security officer with money, which the officer declined.
Moreover, federal officials assert that Diddy instructed his team to handle the situation, resulting in the footage “vanishing” from the hotel’s servers “within a matter of days.”
According to TMZ, authorities suggest that Diddy would likely resort to similar actions to eliminate evidence and intimidate potential witnesses.
In his prior two bail requests, the 54-year-old presented a $50 million bond arrangement and pledged to avoid contact with women and steer clear of drugs.
Currently, he is confronting serious allegations including sex trafficking, racketeering, and involvement in prostitution transportation.
