The upcoming album “Chromakopia” by Tyler, The Creator is set to be released on October 28.

A Monday.

This unconventional release schedule may impact Tyler’s chart performance, yet he remains unfazed. He believes that launching the album at the week’s start provides listeners with a superior experience compared to dropping it late on a Thursday night.

“I understand that many believe weekends are ideal for listening, leading to increased streams… but I think a lot of it ends up being casual listening at parties, or during gym workouts, where people aren’t fully engaged. However, when you release something during the week, that commute to school or work offers that perfect hour or thirty minutes to really ‘dive in’ and pay attention,” he elaborated.
