Zayn Malik is still disturbed by Liam Payne‘s passing … revealing just moments ago that he is postponing his “Stairway to the Sky” tour following this “devastating loss” this week.
The artist shared a brief note on his Instagram story … informing his followers that he must delay the U.S. segment of his tour — and, he plans to reschedule for January.
The U.S. leg of Zayn’s tour was initially scheduled to commence next week in San Francisco, followed by performances in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., and New York City.
It’s important to mention … Zayn only refers to the U.S. tour stops — omitting information about his upcoming UK dates in mid-November. It’s uncertain whether he plans to take the stage on those occasions.
Ticketmaster and various other ticketing platforms have already updated their sites to indicate the tour’s postponement.
As you’re likely aware … Liam Payne passed away after a fall from the third floor of a hotel in Argentina on Wednesday — with at least one authority claiming he “had plummeted from the balcony of his accommodation.”
All of Liam’s bandmates have paid homage to him in the days following his loss … including Zayn, who shared a heartfelt message expressing that he lost a brother who always shared his thoughts openly — which is something Malik stated he greatly admired about him.
