Donald Trump remains untouched by the one predicament Democrats hope could topple him next month … as stated by Bill Maher, who elaborates on why there’s likely no “October Surprise” in store to assist Kamala Harris.
In the latest episode of ‘Real Time’, Bill shared a succinct retrospective of dramatic revelations arriving just before Election Day, historically derailing a candidate’s campaign for the presidency—but he promptly emphasized that this is not an issue for Trump.
Why, you ask? … What can possibly be deemed surprising about Trump when the nation has acclimated to his astonishing remarks and conduct? Incidents such as the infamous “grab ’em by the p***y” tape and the events of January 6 have become commonplace, thus there’s no room for astonishment … that’s Bill’s hypothesis, and it indeed appears quite logical.
Nevertheless, he maintains that this does not imply Vice President Harris can’t secure a victory—although he does have some recommendations for how she might achieve that.
In fact, Bill confesses he fervently desires her presence in the White House for various reasons. Certainly, there’s the whole “preserving democracy” narrative that Democrats have emphasized—but beyond that, Maher insists that Harris’s triumph is deeply personal for him.
Ultimately, this is about his wishes, not hers … just observe.
