Chelsea Lazkani‘s separated spouse is seeking a court to formally dissolve their matrimony, expressing that the duo has yet to reach an agreement on their divorce, but he’s prepared to advance with his life.
Jeff Lazkani — caught up in a turbulent separation from the “Selling Sunset” celebrity — submitted a request to legally conclude his marriage with Chelsea, citing that they have been unable to find a resolution in the seven months since CL initiated the divorce process.
Lazkani believes that proceeding with bifurcation of status will facilitate the divorce process, which can otherwise extend over several years to reach completion.
Jeff further states that he aims to concentrate on their children and the division of assets post-divorce.
As we previously reported, Chelsea initiated divorce proceedings in March, alleging irreconcilable differences. Neither party specified a separation date in their documents.
The couple wed in August 2017 and are parents to two children … Maddox, age 5, and Melia, age 3.
Chelsea sought spousal support in her petition but did not request the court to bar Jeff from doing the same. Additionally, she mentioned that asset distribution needs judicial determination.
We’ve reached out to Chelsea regarding Jeff’s court submission, but have yet to receive a response.
