Usher possesses an undeniable charisma that resonates with his audience. On Saturday afternoon (Oct. 19), Kamala Harris’ administration brought him on board to motivate early voters in Georgia during a rally advocating for the Democratic nominee.

In an extended speech, he conveyed, “Typically, I’m here to amuse, but today represents something far, far more crucial for Atlanta and all of Georgia.” He further clarified, “We are just 17 days away from a vital election where we have the chance to select a new generation of leadership for our nation.”

He emphasized, “I am backing Kamala Harris because she advocates for the rights and freedoms of all individuals. It doesn’t matter your background. She has a vision for our nation that encompasses everyone—one that nurtures small businesses, invests in our health and communities, and provides everyone a chance to progress.”

Usher firmly believes that casting a vote for Harris equates to a vote for liberation. Although he didn’t use cherries during his moment in the spotlight, he nonetheless had the female voters completely engaged. The multi-talented performer and R&B icon emerged as the perfect candidate to capture this particular audience.

Usher’s sold-out “Past Present and Future” tour has become a hot topic in the live music scene. Renowned for his enchanting performances dedicated to high-profile female celebrities, it’s an unmissable event. Notable figures like Summer Walker, Tyla, Mary J. Blige, and several others attended to support his shows.

Before their public split, Halle Bailey and DDG created a viral moment when DDG snatched a cherry from the “Superstar” vocalist to present it to Bailey. This incident became a comedic highlight on social media, as many men viewed Usher’s smoothness as almost too flawless.

Recently, Usher disclosed that the 20th anniversary edition of his iconic album, Confessions, is set to release on Nov. 1. The RIAA diamond-certified LP boasts some of his greatest hits like “Yeah,” “My Boo” featuring Alicia Keys, and the title track, “Confessions.”
