Donald Trump expressed an unusual interest in Arnold Palmer‘s endowment … fixating on it for several awkward yet amusing minutes at a rally held in the golf icon’s hometown.
The Republican presidential contender improvised his remarks during a Saturday evening rally in Latrobe, PA … and while his team hinted he would begin outlining his final pitch for why citizens should elect him again — he commenced with risqué humor instead.
Trump allegedly dedicated around 12 minutes to honoring Latrobe’s beloved sports figure, notably commending Palmer’s masculinity. The former president remarked, “Arnold Palmer was a true man, and I say this with all due respect to women. I appreciate women, but this guy … he was genuinely all man.”
Following his sexist remarks, Trump continued with even more peculiar comments, reminiscent of AP’s stature impressing fellow golfers in the shower — “They walked out and exclaimed, ‘Oh my goodness. That’s astonishing.’ I had to remark. We have discerning women here, but they always regarded Arnold as a man.”
Trump reflected on the potential for more enjoyment at his rally had Arnold — who passed away in 2016 — been present.
Ultimately, Trump did broach political subjects and criticized VP Kamala Harris — standard fare for a political rally — but the highlight remained his focus on Palmer’s assets.
Who would have guessed??? 🤷♂️
