JR indicates that the social media platform has transformed significantly … mentioning he’s long heard it described as the Wild West, but it has now evolved into merely a breeding ground for individuals to vocalize the most despicable vitriol imaginable.
Roll concludes his statement by expressing he’s had enough of the social media platform … choosing to part ways with all the negativity.
It’s important to highlight … this isn’t Jelly Roll’s first instance of stepping back from social media. Back in April, his spouse Bunnie XO informed followers he withdrew after experiencing persistent harassment about his physique.
Several celebrities — like Flavor Flav — rallied to his support … however, Jelly Roll later revealed to Variety that while the toxicity was unbearable, so too was the compulsion. Roll essentially indicated he had been spending excessive hours scrolling, which negatively impacted his mental well-being.
