On Wednesday (Sept. 25), Cardi B made a stunning appearance during the third day of Paris Fashion Week. The “Bodak Yellow” artist showcased a stunning piece from Paco Rabanne’s Spring/Summer 2025 line.

Crafted by designer Julien Dossena, Cardi’s ensemble boasted a shimmering gold chainmail bodice that elegantly transitioned into a fringed skirt. The New York-based star occupied the front row alongside renowned stylist Kollin Carter, who has played a pivotal role in creating her iconic looks for the Met Gala and other significant occasions.

Notably, Cardi previously paid tribute to the late designer Rabanne during the 2023 Grammy Awards. She took to the stage adorned in a silver metallic triangle set paired with a mesh hood from the FW20 collection. That evening, the devoted mother of three also had the honor of presenting Kendrick Lamar with the accolade for Best Rap Album.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Cardi and Carter candidly discussed the hurdles the artist faced while entering the world of high fashion. “There are countless challenges in our way. For instance, my body isn’t designed for a size two. I have curves, and that’s who I am,” shared the Grammy Award-winning artist. “It wasn’t a simple journey, but we make it appear effortless. Our pathway was blocked numerous times… yet here we are because we excel at what we do. I refuse to downplay that.”

“We have consistently delivered one remarkable look after another over the years. We’ve delved into archives that seemed completely inaccessible. We’ve instigated a cultural transformation,” Carter elaborated. “I don’t believe there were many women like Cardi who thrived in the fashion realm before. Now, we see many other female rappers aspiring to enter that sphere because they recognize the opportunities that exist. We are trendsetters.”

The Invasion of Privacy creator welcomed her daughter on Sept. 7, and her post-baby body has returned to form relatively swiftly. This may not be surprising, given that she shared videos of herself at the gym just a week after giving birth: “It’s a personal matter.”
