Prior to Diddy’s arrest related to sex trafficking and other alleged offenses, the headline making waves in the Hip Hop realm was Jay-Z’s choice of Kendrick Lamar to headline the halftime performance at Super Bowl LIX.

A substantial number of fans expressed their dissatisfaction over this decision, particularly because the event will unfold in Wayne’s native city, New Orleans.

However, LL Cool J urged everyone to move past it, reassuring that Wayne would be just fine.

“Lil Wayne is undoubtedly one of the most gifted individuals on the planet, without a doubt,” LL remarked on Fat Joe’s latest STARZ program. “He is one of our finest artists, an incredible songwriter. He’ll have his time to shine. Let Kendrick have that. Let’s keep pushing forward. I never participated in the Super Bowl myself.”

Following that, the iconic New York rapper—who recently released a fantastic album titled THE FORCE and produced by Q-Tip—encouraged Wayne not to let the Super Bowl oversight affect his spirits.

“Wayne hails from a state that takes immense pride, Louisiana, and a city that radiates pride, New Orleans,” LL elaborated. “Here’s the thing: your time will arrive, you’ll have your moment. You mustn’t allow this to overshadow you … The sole reason it brings a smile to my face is that I understand how fortunate he is, I recognize his immense success. So he shouldn’t dwell on that instance. It’s merely a fleeting moment, my friend. It’s just one moment. It happens.”

Do you think Kendrick will invite Wayne to join him on the Super Bowl stage, as Fivio Foreign suggested?
