Lil Durk paid homage to his deceased friends during his birthday celebration at the United Center in Chicago over the weekend.
Unfortunately, he lost at least one supporter who had come to see his performance.
Jess Kendall, an 18-year-old, was heading to the event with his girlfriend when he was tragically robbed and shot by several individuals on bicycles, just blocks from the venue. Sadly, he succumbed to his injuries.
He was among the three victims of gunfire outside the concert. The authorities are currently investigating the incident, but no suspects have been identified yet.
Although Durk claims to have distanced himself from street life, it appears that the streets continue to chase him.
