Grab your manual for the recently departed, as you’ll want it for Airbnb’s latest offering … a residence inspired by the classic “Beetlejuice.”
Take a look … the Deetz house, prominently featured in the original “Beetlejuice” movie and its sequel “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice,” is now open for visits via Airbnb’s Icons initiative.
This dwelling, situated in the quaint village of Hillsborough, New Jersey, will whisk guests away into the universe of “Beetlejuice” … showcasing artwork created by Catherine O’Hara‘s Delia, the Maitlands’ miniature version of the town, and even a gateway to The Afterlife — where a ghost encounter may be lurking.
The latest Airbnb experience coincides with the remarkable success of “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” at the box office … where the Tim Burton film grossed over $400 million globally. This sequel also welcomed back Michael Keaton as the iconic “ghost with the most” alongside Winona Ryder‘s quirky Lydia Deetz.
Jenna Ortega has also been introduced into this new saga … portraying Lydia’s grumpy daughter, Astrid … who faces her own twists with the undead.
Devotees of ‘Beetlejuice’ can request a stay at the Deetz residence starting Wednesday until November 4. Ten selected groups will enjoy a rare opportunity … live 3-hour visits in the home … with each party limited to a maximum of 6 individuals.
Remember, those reserving this experience need to be at least 18 … though, attendees aged over 13 are welcome.
It’s showtime, everyone!!!
