Marsha Kearney, the mother of Kansas City Chiefs renowned player Rashee Rice, faced a misdemeanor charge this month after being accused of taking a package belonging to her neighbor… TMZ Sports has uncovered.
The North Richland Hills Police Department in Texas reported that Kearney’s neighbor accused her of stealing Chappell Roan records directly from their porch in clear sight of a Ring camera on September 29, leading to an arrest warrant for the 43-year-old issued on October 8.

Authorities indicated that Kearney voluntarily surrendered to the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office a week following the incident, on October 15, where she faced a single count of mail theft.
According to court documents, she is slated to make an appearance before a judge later in November for this matter.
This isn’t the first occasion Kearney has found herself in a courtroom regarding theft accusations… earlier this year, charges were brought against her in relation to claims she had taken several household items from a man.
That particular case was dropped in June after it’s reported that she fulfilled some undisclosed conditions.
Meanwhile, Rice will likely have the opportunity to be with his mother as she navigates this new legal challenge, especially since he is expected to miss the remainder of the season after undergoing knee surgery.
