It appears Cardi B is not slowing down anytime soon. Just over a week after welcoming her third child with Offset, the Grammy-winning star has posted some clips of her workout session at the gym.
“Since I have the night off, I’m squeezing in a late-night workout. No intense lifting, no weights – just straight-up [StairMaster] until next week when I start with [my trainer, Plemmie Lawson],” she wrote in her Instagram Story. “Keep in mind, ladies, this is baby number three for me. With my first two, I was still resting in bed during the first week after giving birth.”
“It’s a personal journey,” Cardi commented in another post, which highlighted that she burned 241 calories in a 30-minute session. The “I Like It” artist introduced her youngest on September 7 — Kulture and Wave Cephus entered the world in 2018 and 2021, respectively.
Kulture was notably born just months following the release of Invasion of Privacy, an album that secured a Grammy for Best Rap Album and produced chart-topping singles like “Be Careful,” “Bartier Cardi” featuring 21 Savage, and “I Do” featuring SZA.
Currently, the New York rapper is reversing the trend, anticipating the release of her second album before the year concludes. “Now is the time to focus on my kids,” she tweeted, alongside a CD emoji.
Cardi has been candid about her body after childbirth on several occasions, particularly regarding the challenge of juggling motherhood while remaining fit — even after undergoing breast augmentation and liposuction. “Aside from my body being a bit more curvaceous now, I feel like I have matured into a real woman,” she shared with ELLE in 2023. “I’m no longer a child — in terms of my body, my mindset, and how I conduct myself. At times, it surprises me when I realize, ‘Wow, I’m a mom.’ But I embrace it; I’m a fun mom. I’m a trendy mom.”
