Freddy Krueger has resurfaced this Halloween season — but not to terrify youngsters and make them quiver in fright … rather, he’s brewing up the next Freddie Gibbs album!
Billboards adorned with Krueger’s eerie luminescent eyes floting around Los Angeles have been hinting at “Freddie’s Back” … featuring a number to dial.
The provided number leads to a voice message of Krueger growling and snarling, filled with numerous Easter eggs that refer back to Freddie with the “i” … calling everyone “little rabbits,” a nod to the Grammy-nominated artist’s beloved mascot.
The references to Gibbs’ earlier albums “Piñata,” “$oul $old $eparately,” and “You Only Live 2wice” are equally gruesome — it’s crystal clear there’s a new project on the horizon.

One of Freddie’s many covert Instagram accounts seems to be offering the crucial puzzle piece … earlier this month, he teased a new track tagged “You Only Die 1nce” — a catchphrase that Krueger also mentions in the voicemail.
To top it all off, we’ve confirmed that the voice on the recording is indeed that of the original Freddy Krueger actor Robert Englund … the icon who sparked countless nightmares for those growing up in the ’80s.
Freddie’s team is going all out … we reached out to inquire when exactly this is happening.
