A previous peer of Erik Menendez, who gained notoriety after her daughter shared a video of her yearbook, expresses her wish for him and his sibling Lyle to be freed from incarceration.
Recently, a woman named Hannah Ellenhorn showcased a TikTok video of her mother’s yearbook, featuring Erik, Bill Clinton‘s former White House aide Monica Lewinsky, and reality star from “Shahs of Sunset,” Reza Farahan.

Online users were astonished by the celebrity lineage of a single graduating class from Beverly Hills High School. We managed to talk to Hannah’s mother, Edith Ellenhorn, prior to Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón‘s impending decision regarding potential assistance for the brothers’ release.
Edith shares that she is cheering for Erik and his brother Lyle to attain freedom, asserting that they have paid their dues to a society that now takes accusations of sexual misconduct with heightened scrutiny.
Ellenhorn confirms her graduation alongside Erik in 1989, although she admits they weren’t closely acquainted. She recalls however, she and her friends found him quite attractive and would seek excuses to pass by him in the corridors.
She recalls the shocking murders of Jose and Kitty Menendez—whom Ellenhorn insists she never encountered—left her reeling at the time. She mentions how she used to bring her children near the now-infamous Beverly Hills house during Halloween for a thrill.
During a press conference on Thursday,
“`D.A. George Gascón has shared his intentions to seek a court hearing this Friday to request the resentencing of Erik and Lyle. Given their ages when the offenses occurred, he will advocate for their immediate eligibility for parole. If the judge approves this request either on Friday or subsequently, a parole board will deliberate on whether the brothers should be granted freedom.
A significant portion of Erik and Lyle’s relatives have expressed their desire for their release from incarceration… with over 20 family members gathering outside the Hall of Justice last week to urge the D.A. to petition the judge to revisit their case.
It seems that individuals from the brothers’ past, beyond their family, are also voicing their support.
