Jesse Williams‘ former spouse is requesting the court to maintain the current custody arrangement, arguing that increasing Jesse’s time with their children will only lead to the kids spending even more time with their nanny.
The actor’s ex, Aryn Drake-Lee, filed a reply to Jesse’s request for additional parenting time on Wednesday, asserting that Williams is often away from home, which means a babysitter would mostly be the one caring for their kids during those times.
Drake-Lee argues that their children were under the care of a nanny for a significant portion of the previous spring while Williams was busy with work commitments, leading to the kids falling behind in school more than at any other time.
ADL also states that her ex and his legal representatives are frequently threatening her with legal action if she does not comply with his requests.
Aryn is urging to retain the current custody arrangement and reject Jesse’s proposal for a 50/50 share.
On his side, Jesse contends that Aryn has consistently disrupted his visitation rights and hindered communication with the kids, interrupting FaceTime sessions and preventing them from partaking in events he has arranged for them.
Jesse alleges that Aryn’s actions are intended to stir conflict and undermine his bond with their children, seemingly disregarding what is best for their kids’ wellbeing. This certainly portrays a highly contentious custody dispute.
We have reached out to Jesse for his comments regarding Aryn’s reply but have yet to receive a response.
