Cardi B announced on Wednesday evening (Oct. 23) that she will not be performing at ONE Musicfest this weekend due to a health crisis.

“It deeply saddens me to announce this, but I’ve been hospitalized and recovering from a medical situation over the past few days, and I won’t be able to take the stage at ONE Musicfest,” she expressed through social media. The artist behind “Bodak Yellow” further stated, “It truly breaks my heart to miss my fans this weekend, and I sincerely wish I could be there. Bardi Gang, I appreciate your understanding, and I’ll make my return stronger than ever. Please don’t worry. Love you all.”

The festival’s organizers shared her note alongside the message, “Let’s keep her in our thoughts for a swift recovery! We are diligently seeking a replacement given the short notice. More updates to follow shortly.”

Among the responses to Cardi’s initial announcement, Taraji P. Henson encouraged, “Prioritize your health!” Celebrities such as Kesha and Bobby Lytes joined fans in extending their wishes for the Grammy winner’s quick recovery.

Cardi was set to be the headliner at the festival on Saturday (Oct. 26). Other artists scheduled to perform include Ari Lennox, Gunna, Victoria Monét, GloRilla, Young Nudy, and Sexyy Red, among others. Celebrating its 15th anniversary, ONE Musicfest is set to take place in Atlanta, GA from Oct. 26 to Oct. 27.

The mother of three went live on Instagram from her hospital room on Monday (Oct. 21) night after a prank caller caused Child Protective Services to arrive at her residence. “Not at my home, my gated estate at 11 p.m. with my kids asleep because of an anonymous call claiming my children are being mistreated,” she expressed in fury.

The next day (Oct. 22), amid speculation that Offset was involved, Cardi clarified, “That [has] nothing [to] do [with] him.” She also voiced several criticism of her estranged spouse in a series of tweets that she has since deleted.
