Step aside, Fergie … emerging vocalist Loomis has just made headlines by utterly misperforming the National Anthem, and the mishap is downright cringeworthy.
As witnessed, the artist begins confidently at the Free and Equal Elections Presidential Debate on Thursday… but swiftly loses her pitch, becoming flustered and pleading into the microphone, “I messed it up, I messed it up. Can I start over, can I please start over?”
As if that weren’t sufficient, a cameraman interjects to remind her that she is live on air — leaving her in shock while she attempts to continue… however, her faltering voice only deteriorates further.
She’s evidently embarrassed, confessing mid-performance, “I became overly anxious!”
In the meantime, those behind her are making every effort to maintain composure, offering a sympathetic applause as she finally concludes.
Nevertheless, she did not receive the same understanding treatment online, instead facing a surge of criticism and mockery across social media platforms.
The event showcased third-party presidential candidates, such as Jill Stein from the Green Party, Chase Oliver from the Libertarian Party, and Randall Terry representing the Constitution Party.
Thus, until the next brave individual attempts to sing the National Anthem, it seems this will remain her moment of notoriety for some time!
