Matthew Perry‘s mother, Suzanne Morrison, has shared her reflections on her connection with her late son, expressing that it had unexpectedly improved … almost as if he sensed an impending change.
During a sneak peek of an upcoming episode of “TODAY,” airing fully on October 28 — the one-year mark since Matthew’s passing — Suzanne recounted a heartfelt dialogue with her son. He expressed, “I love you dearly, and it brings me immense joy to be with you at this moment.”
Suzanne tearfully remarked … “It felt almost like a forewarning of something significant. I hadn’t reflected on it back then, but it struck me, ‘When was the last time we had such an exchange? It has been ages.’
She continued, “There was something … an unavoidable fate regarding what was forthcoming for him, and he seemed to acknowledge it deeply. However, he said, ‘I’m no longer scared.’ That truly concerned me.”
TMZ revealed … Matthew was discovered unresponsive in his spa last year, where he had suffered a suspected drowning incident. An autopsy confirmed he succumbed to the acute effects of ketamine.
Five individuals were charged in relation to Perry’s untimely demise, among them two physicians. One, Dr. Mark Chavez, pleaded guilty earlier this month to a conspiracy charge involving the distribution of ketamine. He faces a potential ten-year prison sentence, with his court date set for next April.
