Jamie Foxx Playfully Addresses Diddy Amidst Hospitalization Rumors

Jamie Foxx has been speculated to have revealed gossip regarding Diddy purportedly being the cause of his health issues last year — however, we’ve been informed that these assertions are completely unfounded.

Insiders close to the matter have informed TMZ that during the recording of his comedy special, “What Had Happened Was,” Jamie did casually mention the now-controversial figure while reflecting on his hospital experience in Atlanta — but we’re being told this was all meant in a light-hearted manner.

We’ve been told that Jamie absolutely wasn’t serious, despite various reports suggesting he was “revealing” the truth behind his mysterious health incident that occurred in April 2023.

Page Six previously reported varying accounts from three separate witnesses who were present at the tapings in Atlanta’s Alliance Theatre earlier this month. Two eyewitnesses allegedly did not take Jamie’s remarks about Diddy lightly … whereas a third asserted that Foxx dismissed the rumor, stating, “If [Diddy] was accountable, I’d be six feet under.”

Producer Choke No Joke conducted an interview earlier this month where he asserted there was chatter in the industry regarding Diddy supposedly being linked to Foxx’s hospitalization. He recounted attending several tapings for the special, during which Jamie purportedly said Diddy was the cause of his ordeal … and that he had actually notified the FBI about Diddy.

Filming was prohibited inside the venue, leaving the specifics of what was communicated rather unclear. Reports indicate that it remains uncertain if that quip will even make its way into the final cut of the special.
