A Kick streamer has been officially removed from the service after a clip he shared appeared to portray him fleeing a restaurant without paying … while allegedly leaving a homeless woman responsible for the bill.
The situation unfolds when a streamer, known as Dumbdumbjeez on the platform, uploads a video where he is seated with a woman named Mabel, who he claims is homeless.
Dumbdumbjeez checks the bill, notices a $76 amount, and informs his dining companion that he needs to retrieve his wallet from his vehicle … only to exit the premises and dash toward a car waiting on the street.
The video has gone viral, prompting Kick’s co-founder Bijan Tehrani to express his disapproval of the so-called “prank” … taking to social media platforms to inform that Dumbdumbjeez had been attempting to win a $50K contest — but instead would face a ban from the service.
Tehrani stated that the company is willing to offer Mabel $50K, provided someone can connect her with them.
However, BT might want to refrain from issuing any checks just yet … because Dumbdumbjeez claims he had already informed the woman about his departure before bolting out the door.
He claims to have tried to manipulate the contest — which involves taking an unknown individual on a date — asserting he had already given Mabel the money … thus, no one ended up being hurt in the filming of the video.
It’s challenging to discern the truth here … but it appears that Dumbdumbjeez may need to reach out to Kick — as the platform has put a halt on his account at this moment.
