Travis Scott’s “UTOPIA: CIRCUS MAXIMUS TOUR” is rapidly approaching its conclusion, having commenced in October 2023. On Friday (Oct. 18), the Houston-bred artist welcomed The Weeknd for the second of two performances in Sydney, Australia.

The dynamic duo delivered live interpretations of “Pray 4 Love” and “SKELETONS,” the latter being featured on Scott’s acclaimed album ASTROWORLD. They also boast a significant catalog of joint tracks: “Wonderful,” “WAKE UP,” and most recently, “K-POP” alongside Bad Bunny.

“Big shoutout to my XO family. My love for y’all is eternal,” the Cactus Jack Records pioneer proclaimed at one moment during the concert. Following this event, Scott has two shows scheduled in Melbourne, culminating in stops at Brisbane and Auckland, New Zealand, on Oct. 26 and 31, respectively.

Meanwhile, The Weeknd is gearing up for the release of Hurry Up Tomorrow later this year, enticing hopes for another collaboration with Scott. The confirmed tracks so far include “Dancing In The Flames” and “Timeless.” The collaboration with Playboi Carti made a splash by debuting at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, with its accompanying visuals raking in over 9.6 million views on YouTube as of this writing.

In other news, Scott recently received the prestigious I Am Hip Hop Award at the 2024 BET Hip Hop Awards. During his acceptance remarks, the rapper expressed, “I hail from a generation that was often dismissed from the Hip Hop scene. Each day, I strive to innovate the sound. Upon entering as a producer, my ambitions were unclear to many, yet I always held onto my idea—a vision to elevate the sound and boldly push the boundaries further.”

Additionally, to mark the 10th anniversary of DAYS BEFORE RODEO, the project made a significant impact in major digital streaming platforms in August. The collection ascended to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, though it arrived a bit late due to the delayed shipment of vinyl records.
