Taylor Swift lit up New Orleans on Saturday night, helped by Sabrina Carpenter.
Taylor graced the stage at the Caesars Superdome for her “Eras” tour, performing a multitude of beloved tracks before she used a fan’s cell phone to call Sabrina on stage to join her in front of 65,000 ecstatic fans.
Sabrina joined in, and together they belted out a duet that sent the audience into a frenzy.
As many may recall, during the earlier part of the tour in the summer of ’23, Sabrina opened for Taylor and continued to do so for months.
The dynamic pair delighted the audience with a medley featuring three of their top songs.
Sabrina showcased an acoustic rendition of “Espresso,” which smoothly transitioned into a mashup with Taylor’s “Is it Over Now?”.
A humorous highlight occurred when Sabrina, noticeably shorter than Taylor, wore an enormous pair of platform shoes!
In total, T&S performed three mashups, one of which included Sabrina’s “Please Please Please.”
Taylor has another performance lined up in New Orleans tonight, after which she will travel to Indianapolis, followed by a visit to Canada.
