GloRilla envisions herself as a mother someday, yet she’s opting for a non-traditional approach. During a conversation with Charlamagne Tha God on “Out Of Context” on Monday (Oct. 14), the Memphis sensation disclosed her intention to utilize a surrogate when the moment arrives.

When probed about whether the lyric “This n**ga tryna get me pregnant, I need to tie my tubes” from the track “PROCEDURE” with Latto stemmed from personal experience, GloRilla candidly replied, “Yeah.” In response to how she would manage a pregnancy, the “Wanna Be” performer humorously stated, “1-800.”

“I indeed wish to have children, but not biologically. I prefer to have a surrogate,” she clarified. “I want someone else to carry my child. I desire them to share my DNA, but I’m not keen on enduring the process myself.”

“I simply don’t want to go through the experience of having a baby… All my friends are parents, and they often feel limited when they’re expecting. I’m thinking, ‘Nope, I don’t want that,’” the rapper articulated. Charlamagne Tha God reminded her that pregnancies typically last nine months, to which she quipped back, “That’s way too long.”

In another segment of their discussion, the “Wanna Be” artist shared insights about her collaboration with Sexyy Red on “WHATCHU KNO ABOUT ME,” which incorporates a sample of Boosie Badazz’s early 2000s hit “Wipe Me Down.” She explained, “The universe wanted to see me and Sexyy Red team up and whatnot, so we made it happen. I thought, ‘Alright, this is a lively track. It’s something she would totally vibe with.’”

It appears the duo might have more tracks ready to drop. “We [were] in the studio creating something, and we actually completed another song,” disclosed the Collective Music Group artist.

“WHATCHU KNO ABOUT ME” stands out as one of the many impressive tracks on GLORIOUS, GloRilla’s inaugural studio album. This collection of 15 tracks also features pre-released singles “HOLLON” and “TGIF,” showcasing collaborations with BossMan Dlow, Megan Thee Stallion, Kirk Franklin, Muni Long, and T-Pain, among others.
