Cardi B marked her 32nd birthday on Friday (Oct. 11) in NYC. Hennessy Carolina Almánzar, her collaborator on “Point Me 2,” FendiDa Rappa, and a host of other party-goers joined the celebration, featuring signature cocktails like Bardi in the City, Okurrr Cosmo, and the And Did-Rita.
On Sunday evening (Oct. 13), the Grammy-winning artist took to social platforms to share the tale behind her birthday attire. “Let me fill you in on my little thotty dress. The outfit I intended to wear was slightly too snug, and it lacked adequate material,” she disclosed. “So, I jumped in a truck and headed over to Staten Dolls Gentlemen’s Club, where I worked for four years, and snagged this cute dress because, honey, nothing was going to hinder my celebration.”
The artist remarked, “I adore that they don’t view me as Cardi B. They still acknowledge me as Camilla. (Fun fact: That was my stage name).”
Cardi B’s history as a dancer is well-known and has at times led her into controversy. Back in 2019, the “Up” sensation confessed that she would sedate and steal from men who sought her out for sex.
“I had to go, ‘Oh yeah, you want to hook up? Sure, let’s head to this hotel,’ and I’d drugged those fellows, then robbed them. That was my routine,” she recounted during an Instagram Live session.
In September, the Invasion of Privacy artist welcomed her third child — a daughter — and took center stage at Paris Fashion Week. She was present at Paco Rabanne’s Spring/Summer 2025 showcase, following it up with events for Vivienne Westwood, Mugler, and Balmain.
On the music front, Cardi B’s recent solo releases feature “Enough (Miami)” and “Like What (Freestyle),” with the latter’s music video leading to the rapper facing a lawsuit over non-payment.
