Gypsy Rose Blanchard is clarifying the uncertainty surrounding the paternity of her unborn baby — reports indicate she’s gearing up to undergo a paternity test this week!
Insiders close to the matter share with TMZ that Gypsy is not doubting her partner Ken Urker‘s paternity — she’s undertaking this to provide closure for the public and her former partner Ryan Anderson. This is meant to confirm that Ryan is definitively not the biological father.
According to sources, Ryan has not been informed regarding the test as Gypsy does not require his DNA for the process; she only needs Ken’s to establish he is indeed the father. She is confident about his paternity — but if he turns out not to be, the results will unmistakably indicate a 0% match.
The expense for a paternity test prior to the arrival of the baby can range from $500 to $2,000. Reports indicate that Gypsy is personally covering the costs through a local agency.
Once their daughter is born in January, Gypsy will still need to pursue another court-ordered paternity test. However, she remains hopeful that these preliminary results will assist her, Ken, and Ryan in moving forward with their respective lives.
It’s crucial to keep in mind that Gypsy’s divorce from Ryan is not yet finalized. Under Louisiana regulations, Ryan would automatically appear as the father on the birth certificate. To officially alter that, a court-mandated paternity test demonstrating Ken as the biological father is required post-birth.
