Usher is set to make a triumphant return to Brooklyn, New York, for two additional nights. Following four electrifying performances at the Barclays Center as part of his “USHER: PAST PRESENT FUTURE Tour,” the celebrated artist revealed on Tuesday (Oct. 29) that he will be back on December 5 and December 6.
“Brooklyn, let’s do it again!” the Grammy-winning superstar enthused alongside clips of his show-stopping performances. Pre-sales are slated to commence on Wednesday (Oct. 30), with general sales kicking off on Friday (Nov. 1) at 10 a.m. EDT.
The tour commenced later than anticipated in August after the “Burn” hitmaker sustained a neck injury during rehearsals. “I had hoped that with proper physical therapy and medications, I would recover and be ready for the opening night,” he disclosed before announcing that two Atlanta shows would be rescheduled to December 10 and December 12.
Looking ahead, Usher is anticipated to grace major cities such as Vancouver, Minneapolis, Seattle, and Miami, among others. Moving on to 2025, he plans to take his act across the ocean to cities like London, Paris, Amsterdam, and Berlin as a part of the European and UK segment.
During his previous shows in Brooklyn, Usher entertained a star-studded audience that included Muni Long, Taraji P. Henson, Victoria Monét, Yung Miami, Fat Joe, and Ja Rule, some of whom even shared the stage with him. Other notable figures who came to cheer on the R&B legend include Summer Walker, Tyla, Mary J. Blige, DDG, and Halle Bailey.
The Raymond v Raymond artist took a brief hiatus from touring earlier this month to address Kamala Harris’ rally in Georgia. At the event, he commended the vice president as someone who possesses “a vision for our nation that encompasses everyone, a vision that bolsters small businesses, invests in our health and our communities, and offers everyone an opportunity to thrive.”
