Metro Boomin is now confronting a fresh lawsuit initiated by a woman who alleges that she had established trust with the Grammy laureate before he purportedly assaulted her in 2016.
Documents obtained by TMZ Hip Hop today reveal that a woman named Vanessa LeMaistre asserts she was grappling with depression after losing her 9-month-old child when she connected with Metro during a vacation in Las Vegas that spring.
According to Vanessa, Metro invited her to his LA studio, where she claims to have witnessed him misusing codeine, despite his friends cautioning against it.
In September 2016, Vanessa recounts visiting Metro at his studio, where she consumed half a Xanax and a drink to numb the sorrow from her child’s death … she claims to have then passed out on the couch.
Vanessa alleges that she woke up in a bed with Metro on top of her, engaging in sexual acts. Upon regaining consciousness after the blackout, she states that Metro revealed they were at a hotel in Beverly Hills and it was time to depart, but she recalls nothing about how she arrived there.
Later, Vanessa learned of her pregnancy and is convinced it must be with Metro since she’d not been intimate with anyone else. She states that she eventually chose to terminate the pregnancy in November 2016.
Vanessa also hints that Metro may have mocked her suffering on his “Rap Saved Me” track featuring 21 Savage, Offset, and Quavo … which includes the lyrics, “She took a Xanny / Then she fainted / I’m from the gutter … ain’t no changing.”
She is currently pursuing unspecified compensatory damages for emotional distress … in addition to punitive damages.
We have reached out to Metro Boomin’s representative … awaiting a response.
