Cardi B joyfully announced the arrival of her third daughter in September. Contrary to what many fans anticipated about her taking some time off, she made a remarkable recovery. Just a little over a week post-delivery, the “WAP” sensation posted a video of herself working out at the gym, and by month’s end, she was seen at PFW.
In an Instagram Live session on Monday (Oct. 7) morning, Cardi reflected on her recent pregnancy and compared it with her previous experiences. “I don’t know how to explain this, but this baby came easily for me. I delivered this baby quickly,” she recounted. “I pushed for seven minutes, and believe me, after giving birth, I felt an immense burst of energy. I felt like I could take on the world, whereas in my earlier pregnancies, it didn’t feel like that.”
“With my son, it took me a long time to even get up and walk,” the Grammy award-winning artist shared about Wave, her second eldest. She continued, “He had a huge head that literally caused a lot of damage; it felt like he broke my everything.” Cardi also mentioned needing stitches following the birth of Kulture in 2018.
“Not every pregnancy unfolds in the same way, and our bodies react differently. Allow yourself the time to recuperate,” she advised. “Once you feel that your pelvis is healing well, I believe it’s okay to start doing cardio exercises, and then after three weeks, you can transition to lifting weights and similar activities.”
While Cardi has yet to reveal the name of her youngest child, this is her third child with Offset. Unfortunately, the happy news arrived amidst their ongoing divorce, with him alleging infidelity during her pregnancy. “You were with [someone else] while I was carrying our baby. Just be honest!” he stated during Cardi’s Instagram Live in September.
