If the MLB had its preferences, the two fans from the New York Yankees who disrupted Mookie Betts during Tuesday’s game would be banned from attending Game 5.
Insiders at the league’s headquarters have revealed to TMZ Sports that MLB officials are collaborating with the Yankees to make sure the individuals are prevented from attending the World Series in New York on Wednesday night, following their inappropriate conduct towards Betts in Game 4.

Reportedly, the league is even ready to reimburse the two men’s ticket expenses to ensure that the prohibition is enforced.
The Yankees supporters, identified by ESPN as Austin Capobianco and John Peter, mentioned to the outlet post-Game 4 that although they were removed from the game for their actions, New York officials indicated they would be welcome back.
However, the Yankees have yet to provide any comments regarding the situation.
As Betts grasped the ball, Capobianco and Peter reached for his arms … managing to wrest the ball from his mitt. Moments later, they were seen being escorted from the vicinity.

Capobianco shared with ESPN his awareness that he was “in the wrong” … yet he appeared to justify his actions, stating, “I patrol that wall.”
In contrast, Betts minimized the incident during interviews following L.A.’s 11-4 defeat.
