The previous residence of the Menendez siblings is set to draw numerous visitors seeking Halloween thrills — however, another property in Beverly Hills is anticipated to be an even greater source of fright … at least from a law enforcement perspective.
The location where Erik and Lyle Menendez horrifically took the lives of their parents has become a favored spot for curious onlookers in recent weeks, largely due to hugely popular Netflix series … and police have been flooded with complaints from irritated locals.
The famed Witch’s House — also referred to as the Spadena House — resembles a setting from a sinister fairy tale. It has been captivating visitors since the 1930s, when it was first built for a silent film production company.
It’s important to note that The Witch’s House is a private property owned by realtor Michael J. Libow … and, regrettably, no guided tours are available. Onlookers can only gaze from the sidewalk.
Regarding law enforcement, we’ve been informed that Beverly Hills will deploy a special Halloween unit to monitor specific areas … but there won’t be any officers stationed specifically on the Menendez property — despite a noted rise in trespassing reports.
Nonetheless, they won’t be too distant if some overly enthusiastic true-crime enthusiast stirs up trouble.
