AdonysX has clinched the championship title after delivering an outstanding performance at Red Bull Batalla USA. Following his triumph in the prestigious freestyle contest, he was confirmed to represent at the International Final in Spain.

Red Bull Batalla is recognized as the premier Spanish-language freestyle competition worldwide. As Latin music gains traction in the U.S., thanks to the emergence of artists like Peso Pluma, Bad Bunny, Anuel AA, Anitta, FloyyMenor, and more, this rap challenge has firmly established itself within the global rap community.

On the evening of Saturday, October 12, AdonysX faced numerous adversaries before concluding with a thrilling sudden-death showdown against Frietes. Ultimately, the Venezuelan-Dominican rapper raised the Red Bull Batalla National trophy in front of an audience of around 2,000 people who were captivated by the event.

Directly after his victory, AdonysX expressed to Rap-Up, “I’m incredibly thrilled; it’s hard to articulate how I feel. I’m immensely proud to be here representing my nation — that means everything to me. If you think you’ve seen a lot tonight, just wait for my performance in Spain. This is merely a preview of what I have planned for the International Final.”

The contest featured judges who are stalwarts of the freestyle scene, including Akapellah, a six-time Grammy-nominated artist, alongside Dominican rapper and dembow star Quimico Ultra Mega, and two-time Red Bull Batalla USA National Champion Reverse. Renowned figures like Snow Qlq and El Dilema also lent their expertise as judges.

With Spanish-language music becoming an influential genre across the globe, the rising popularity of Red Bull Batalla is entirely appropriate. Major American artists, including Cardi B, Drake, DJ Snake, and others, have collaborated with talents like Peso Pluma and Bad Bunny.

Recently, Drake has generated buzz by exploring regional Mexican music with Chino Pacas in their new track, “Modo Capone.” In this song, he performed entirely in Spanish, rapping, “La ninfo mami me llama/ Me quiere en su cama, fresas y cocaine/ Travis sonando/ Cubanas me gusta portarlas, dinero es poder.”

AdonysX is gearing up to compete in the Red Bull Batalla International Final in Spain on November 30. Don’t miss the final battle showcased below!
