The season has come to an end for Braxton Berrios, who has been formally diagnosed with a torn ACL. However, his girlfriend, Alix Earle, is determined to support him until he makes a full recovery and returns stronger than ever.
The standout return specialist for the Dolphins sustained his injury during Miami’s 16-10 setback against the Colts on Sunday. Subsequent medical evaluations on Monday confirmed that he would be sidelined for several months as he works toward a full recovery. Earle took to her Instagram to share her sorrow regarding the circumstances.
Nonetheless, she expressed her belief that he would make a full recovery, despite the injury’s seriousness, and pledged to stand by him throughout his healing journey.
“Every single day you motivate me, and I truly believe you will be back and better than ever shortly,” she wrote. “I’m proud to be right here with you and support you.”
She concluded with, “I love you,” complemented by a red heart emoji.

Berrios shared his disappointment regarding the diagnosis as well but, like Earle, exhibited a sense of hope on his own Instagram, stating, “I trust in God, who makes no errors.”
“Once everything settles,” the wide receiver remarked, “the choice each day will be clear: let this be a chapter in my story, not the conclusion. As Kobe once famously said, ‘If you see me in a struggle with a bear, pray for the bear.'”
Berrios, who has been in a relationship with Earle for nearly a year, participated in six games this season, accumulating a total of 103 yards through seven punt returns.
