As if the presence of Eminem, Usher, and Megan Thee Stallion wasn’t thrilling enough, Beyoncé is said to be poised to grace the stage at Kamala Harris’ rally in Houston this Friday evening (Oct. 25).

According to NBC News, three insiders — including one with “direct insight into the arrangements” — confirmed that she will perform to support Vice President Harris as the U.S. presidential election approaches. Although details surrounding Beyoncé’s rumored participation are scarce, the Democratic Party nominee will be in Texas to address the state’s recent six-week abortion ban.

As reported by Rap-Up, the global superstar authorized the Harris-Walz campaign to use her song “Freedom” at multiple rallies and promotional clips. Notably, the Oakland native entered to the tune back in July.

Many fans are understandably hesitant about the possibility of Beyoncé attending Harris’ rally, especially considering the rumors from August that suggested the “VIRGO’S GROOVE” artist would appear on the final evening of the Democratic National Convention.

“We never released any information regarding Beyoncé. We refuted it each time the media inquired — even though, by the way, some staff members didn’t take me seriously,” DNC executive producer Ricky Kirshner revealed in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. “I kept receiving messages from news outlets wondering, ‘When will Beyoncé appear?’ But honestly, we have the biggest star in the Democratic presidential race. Why would we want to detract from that?”

While Beyoncé has yet to publicly endorse Harris, should she choose to do so, it would undoubtedly be one of the most significant endorsements since Taylor Swift. Other notable figures, including Lizzo, Lil Nas X, John Legend, Tina Knowles, Quavo, Halle Bailey, and Plies have already expressed their support for the VP.

Chlöe, who is signed under Beyoncé’s Parkwood Entertainment alongside her sister, encouraged Gen Z to vote earlier this month. “For this generation, it’s crucial to participate in voting regardless of their stance, ensuring that our voices resonate,” she told Glamour.
