Cardi B and Offset are facing significant challenges in their divorce proceedings. On Wednesday night (Sept. 25), the Grammy-winning artist took to social media, where she made a series of claims against her estranged spouse.
“A n**ga thinks that he can simply purchase a b**ch. I care about myself, s**t, but you can’t buy me no more, motherf**ker,” Cardi expressed during a live broadcast on Instagram. “I find it hilarious that n**gas believe they can f**k other people, yet when I begin to talk to n**gas, you wanna threaten me with taking away the s**t that I f**king slaved for.”
At one point, Offset became aware of the live stream and responded, “You f**ked [someone else] while carrying a baby. Speak the truth!” The collaborator on “Clout” seemingly addressed the allegations on X, formerly Twitter, stating: “AND DID!”
“You want to engage in games with me? Fine, we’ll play them, too. You wish to seize my s**t because I’m moving forward? Move on then. Why can’t you just let go?” Cardi continued during the live session. “It’s not enjoyable when mama’s armed, right? Now we’re heading towards a legal battle, isn’t it?”
Following that, the Invasion of Privacy performer revealed supposed messages exchanged between her and Offset. The dialogue commenced with him inquiring, “[You] don’t want me?” to which Cardi replied, “Not really.” He then followed with, “Alright. [You] want someone else?” and the mother of three responded, “Offset and please.”
The exchange progressed, with Offset stating, “Okay, I’ll leave you be,” and Cardi retorting, “Please have a good evening.”
This scenario is undeniably challenging, especially considering the fact that the duo seemed to be having a good time at Wave’s 3rd birthday celebration and in the images Cardi shared to announce the birth of their daughter.
Earlier on Wednesday, the New Yorker made an appearance at Paris Fashion Week. She and her stylist, Kollin Carter, were seated front row at the Paco Rabanne Spring/Summer 2025 runway show.
