Cardi B has shown that she’s not one to be trifled with. On the night of Monday (Oct. 21), the “I Like It” artist made it clear that she intends to find the individual who contacted Child Protective Services regarding her household — where she resides with her and Offset’s three children: Kulture, Wave, and their newborn baby girl — following a false abuse allegation.
“People have taken things too f**king far when it comes to my f**king kids,” the Grammy-winning performer expressed on Instagram Live. “For Child Protective Services to show up at my f**king residence? Not just my house, my gated mansion at 11 p.m. while my kids are asleep because of an anonymous report claiming my children are being abused.”
In a video filmed from her hospital bed, Cardi B disclosed that she has been unwell and receiving treatment since Saturday (Oct. 19). “You f**king a**holes find this amusing, but it’s not,” she stated, threatening legal action against CPS and the individual who made the call. The Invasion of Privacy creator emphasized that she and her family are the sole people of color in their neighborhood.
“My children live wonderfully. They have never been harmed, never been struck, no matter how trying they can be. I would never lay a hand on my kids,” Cardi B asserted. “We provide exceptional care for them. Don’t ever in your f**king life meddle with my motherhood or my ex-husband’s parenting.”
As Rap-Up had reported earlier this year, Cardi B and Offset are going through a divorce after six years together. The duo, who brought their relationship to light in 2017, has encountered numerous highs and lows. Indeed, the New York native initially filed for divorce in 2020 but retracted her petition two months later.
Meanwhile, last September, the “Red Room” rapper accused Cardi B of infidelity during her pregnancy. “You f**ked [someone else] with a baby inside. Be honest!” he claimed during one of her Instagram Live broadcasts. She seemingly responded through Twitter soon after, saying: “AND DID!”
