Influencer and model Chanel Thierry has voiced her concerns for the first time following reports of her separation from DJ Mustard earlier this week. On Tuesday (Oct. 15), she accused the producer of “Not Like Us” of feigning illness to prevent her from departing, among several other allegations.
“While I intended to remain silent, resisting being silenced is a battle I’m committed to. This decision was made back in July,” she expressed on Threads. “Now that I’m returning the vehicle to its rightful owner, all my affairs are on the internet for everyone to see. I acknowledge that these matters are public domain.”
Thierry then addressed Mustard directly: “The fact that I knew you would stoop so low as to inform everyone that you ‘took the car,’ and pretended my [child support arrears] was payment for the car, which it is not. It’s merely [child support] that you are behind on.”
According to TMZ, the couple will share legal custody of their three children, with Mustard obligated to pay over $24,500 monthly in child support. Additionally, Thierry will receive a one-time spousal support payment of $315,000, along with a further lump sum of $275,000.
She further remarked, “You ensured your PR team portrayed me negatively for two long years, and you’re still at it! Please let me be and cease using me for your publicity and music sales. Consider the timeline. After you filed for divorce in May 2022, you purported to have cancer to coerce me into staying at home. I left in July. Clearly, there was no cancer.”
Accompanying her post were alleged messages from Mustard, in which he declared, “You should be aware that thoughts of cancer [are] tough for me. I feel so adrift and without control.” Another message from the producer stated, “Who the f**k would do something like that to someone who could be battling cancer?”
Regarding their divorce, the Faith Of A Mustard Seed artist retains numerous assets, including a 2022 Cadillac Escalade, a 2022 Rolls-Royce Cullinan, a 2022 Maybach Benz, a 2018 Lamborghini Aventador, a 2019 Lamborghini Urus, a 1960 Chevy Impala, and four motorcycles. He will also take complete ownership of their mansion in Chatsworth, Los Angeles, along with multiple other properties in the vicinity.
