Authorities in Argentina are conducting an extensive investigation into the circumstances surrounding Liam Payne‘s tragic death, and sources from TMZ have indicated that they are interrogating the staff at the hotel where he tragically plummeted from his third-floor balcony.
Sources from law enforcement in Buenos Aires have informed TMZ that the investigation is particularly focused on one employee, who they believe may have provided the deceased artist with anti-anxiety medications that were reportedly retrieved from Liam’s suite at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel.
Authorities are reportedly probing whether the hotel staff member provided Liam with any of the substances discovered in his system, including cocaine, crack, ketamine, ecstasy, and a variation of crystal meth known as “cristal,” according to the initial findings of the autopsy.
We’re informed that no definitive conclusions have been reached yet, and the inquiry is still very much active.
As previously mentioned, initial autopsy reports indicated that Liam had various substances in his bloodstream at the time of his passing last week, including a concoction commonly referred to as “pink cocaine.”
The findings seem to corroborate the suspicions of the police, suggesting that substances may have contributed to Liam’s demise, which one officer has even referred to as a suicide.
