Denzel Washington was visibly agitated, channeling his “Training Day” persona as he unleashed on a throng of paparazzi … and possibly enthusiastic fans … who undoubtedly crossed some boundaries.
Take a look at the clip … the actor was all smiles, snapping photos outside NYC’s Museum of Modern Art on Wednesday — however, it appears that at least one individual in the overly eager crowd crossed a line … and Denzel did not hesitate to call this person out … resulting in what seemed like a fiery exchange.
You may not grasp most of the dialogue, but you can distinguish Denzel practically advising them to calm down and remain patient and courteous … indicating they’d have an opportunity to engage with him later — or perhaps not, contingent upon their conduct.
It remains unclear what exactly prompted Denzel’s reaction — he’s typically known for his serene demeanor in real life — yet the entire interaction echoed back to his legendary “King Kong” moment from the 2001 film, “Training Day.”
No matter the reason, you certainly don’t want to be labeled as the fool who irritated Denzel … especially right before he was due to celebrate his friend Samuel L. Jackson!
